The NLDSS is a network of support for families affected by Down syndrome. Our goal is to provide information and support, and to provide assistance where we can to families as they encounter the ups and downs of having a family member with Down syndrome. The NLDSS has a mandate to help individuals with Down syndrome reach their full potential, and to assist with the obstacles that they may face along the way.

Becoming a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Down Syndrome Society is easy. For $25 you become members of two organizations, the NLDSS AND The Canadian Down Syndrome Society.

With your membership, you have access to:

• Invitation to attend our monthly meetings (every second Tuesday), which regularly include guest speakers with topics related to Down syndrome
• Access to the NLDSS Resource Centre
• Access to Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Music Therapy for eligible families
• An invitation to vote at the Annual General Meeting

Please complete membership form and mail it in along with your cheque (payable to the NL Down Syndrome Society) to NLDSS, P.O. Box 21054, St. John’s, NL A1A 5B2 or drop it off at one of our upcoming monthly meetings.

We look forward to meeting you!
